Decentralized VPN (Mena-dVPN)

Our mission on menaVPN is to ensure maximum privacy coverage and secure internet access and also fairer internet for everyone.

We are working on the next generation of VPNs called decentralized VPN (dVPN). dVPNs don’t run on a centrally-controlled network of servers. Instead, they rely on nodes and cryptography algorithms to secure the internet, also With Mena-dVPN data structure, you can surf, unblock, and stream any content anonymously wherever you are.

Be first to try Mena-dVPN

If you want to try the beta version Mena-dVPN before it’s released, you can join the beta tester program. As a beta tester, you’ll become an important part of the app’s development.

How does it work?

Mena-dVPN offers a secure internet connection that is run by a network of nodes. To understand how safe a dVPN is, it is important to understand the blockchain technology on which it is based. A blockchain is a series of blocks that record data in hash functions with timestamps so that the data cannot be changed or tampered with. The data is secured by eliminating centralized points which are often the target of cyberattacks. In fact, blockchain can store any type of data in publicly available databases, and therefore a Mena-dVPN does not rely on a single central server. so nodes are randomly selected as well as data will be encrypted.

What's the difference between Mena-dVPN and TOR ?

Tor browser and Mena-dVPN are similar in their aims but not in their technological approach and also they have two fundamental differences:

  • Unlike the Tor network, all nodes are paid for providing the VPN service and keeping the network powered and safe.
  • Thanks to cryptography science Mena-dVPN is fast speed while due to Tor network infrastructure, TOR is slow.
